The Model School Dunmanway

History Tour
Last year we followed the River Bandon from Dunmanway to Kinsale. We saw Charlesfort and Desmond Castle in Kinsale and Christ Church museum and Billie's Diner in Bandon. We learned a lot in each place and had lots of fun!

We went to the Eclipse Centre in Kerry last year. It was really good fun. We got to swing on a rope over mud, do lots of climbing and we even got to build our own raft to go across a lake but we had to abandon it because it was like the Titanic. We had to swim back to shore. We got very muddy and had to swim in mud but it was fun.

This year, we went on our tour around Dunmanway. We saw a really, really old house next to Aldi and we saw a jail cell, like a holding house. We saw Cox's hall, and we saw Sam Maguires grave. We saw the Brookpark Veterinary Clinic which used to be a train station.
